Welcome to Smiles ‘n Spice – Meals like Mom’s

Growing up in a big family with brothers, everyone is always hungry, and the best conversations always happen around the dinner table. This is what motivated me to explore my love and passion for cooking as a young girl. With lots of tips and tricks from my mom and dadi (paternal grandmother, who insisted I peel the potato in a certain way, such that only a thin layer of skin would peel off), I kept experimenting. I soon learned that perfecting the traditional biryani made by mom using family recipes and fresh ingredients came with a lot of practice. 

Years later, I decided to turn my passion into a business. Smiles ‘n Spice was created to bring back memories of your home and Mom’s cooking. We provide fresh, home-style food, corporate events, boxed lunches, and desserts for individuals, families, parties and events. All our Meals are hand-made with love, just like mom would! We focus on consistency, taste, and an authentic culinary experience. Let us take care of your meals and events, so you can focus on creating more memories and smiles with your family.

Ordered chicken sandwiches, chicken biryani, and goat biryani. Highly recommend the chicken sandwiches as they were amazing and very unique from the typical sandwich you’d get at another restaurant. The biryani was also delicious and meat was cooked very tender and to perfection.
